Privacy Policy

- Send important service updates
- Improve our service (with anonymized analytics data)
- Prevent fraud and abuse
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- OpenAI β to process text corrections. Only the text itself is sent to OpenAI; we do not send any user identifiers.
- Stripe β to process payments
- Google Analytics β to analyze site usage (only with your consent)
6. Mobile App and Browser Extensions
Natively provides a Chrome browser extension and a native iOS application that includes Share, Action and Keyboard extensions. Data handling is the same as for the website: text you submit for correction is sent over HTTPS to our API and forwarded to OpenAI; we do not retain it on our servers.
6.1 iOS Share & Action Extensions
The Add to Natively and Make it Sound Native share actions are triggered manually from text you have selected in Safari (or any other app that supports the action sheet). When you tap them, we receive only the text you selected and, when available, the page URL. Nothing is transmitted unless you explicitly invoke the action.
6.2 Siri Shortcut / Action Button
You can optionally bind a Natively shortcut to Siri or the iPhone Action Button. The shortcut reads only the input you pass to it (e.g. the clipboard or a parameter you provide) when you trigger it.
6.3 Natively Keyboard (custom keyboard with Full Access)
The Natively Keyboard is an optional iOS keyboard extension. iOS requires us to request Full Access so the keyboard can make HTTPS network requests; this is the standard iOS permission model for any keyboard that uses online services.
- We read and transmit the contents of an input field only when you explicitly tap the “Make Native” button on the keyboard.
- We do not log keystrokes, do not run analysis in the background, and do not read content from other apps or other fields.
- We do not collect a custom dictionary, autocomplete telemetry, or typing-analytics data.
- As a best-effort safeguard, the Natively Keyboard does not transmit the contents of fields the host application marks as secure (e.g., password fields, credit-card fields). iOS withholds the contents of such fields from third-party keyboards, and the keyboard additionally skips fields whose declared input type is unsuitable for natural-language correction (phone, number pad, etc.).
- Text sent for correction follows the same flow as the website: HTTPS to our API, forwarded to OpenAI, not retained on our servers.
- You can revoke Full Access in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards at any time; the keyboard will then continue to type normally but cannot perform AI correction.
6.4 Authentication
Sign-in tokens for the iOS app are stored in the iOS Keychain within Natively’s private security group. They are accessible only to Natively’s own targets and are never shared with third parties or other apps on your device.
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Text corrections: Not stored by Natively
- Analytics data: Retained for 14 months by Google Analytics
